OTB I'd think first that if this were an unlimited match, I'd note the race deficit but still look at 24/20, consider whether I'd have a take after that, decide that I would but just barely, then consider whether not anchoring might be better, and conclude that although Opp's position is awkward enough that not anchoring should win me quite a few more games, it's dangerous enough that those extra wins won't make up for all the gammon losses that anchoring prevents.

And that should make it clear that since at this score I could not care less about gammon losses, just about any move should be better than anything with 24/20 in it. I'd play 13/9 8/7, and think your bot has identified the top 3 plays.
