Snake eyes from the bar

The point shifting play is immediately attractive (bar/23 2/1*(2) ). This gives blue a chance to leap with a 4 5 or 6 and aim at white's blots while white is on the bar.

The other play I'd consider is the blocking play - make the bar point (bar/23 8/7(2) )

Either way, I like moving up to the 23 better than playing 6/5 since we'll need to get a runner moving so our board doesn't crunch, and moving up diversifies our leaping numbers.

So, block or attack? The answer probably lies in the cube action - If we whack and he fans I think we have a cube - this happens ~50% of the time. I'm not seeing the cube opportunities after the blocking play. Plus the block gives him 11 shakes to consolidate his blots and turn them into blocking points (61 52 42 41 54 22)

Verdict: attack bar/23 2/1*(2)
