Stick played in the event last year. As far as I remember he lost his matches and was outplayed in the process.

Personally, I think it's a shame that Stick is not playing again this year. After all he has been known to find the right play occasionally. :-)

I think both the Danish team and the world team could be stronger. I believe that the Danish team would be stronger if PJT and Steen Grønbech were playing. I believe both Tardieu and Stick would be an improvement to the world team.

At the end of the day both teams are very strong as they are, so it's not a big deal. I can't wait for backgammon's Ryder Cup to take place!
