1. 5-4-3*-2-1 white is threatening to make points, so i hit to take half a roll away. 2. 7-5 6-5 for all the usual reasons. after a no-hit you might have a dble. 3. 7-4 6-4 again for all the usual reasons. XG needs at least a few milli-joules to find out, if it wants to hit with say 4-6 or 4-2 or 4-1. 4. 1-off (4) i go for the gammon and let the opponent find out if he wants to stay back for a shot. 5. 6-5-3 no hit! owning the cube and out-boarded i want to wait for a substantial gain before i risk getting gammoned. And you may well throw 55 or 66. the race isn't that hopeless.
