DK vs The World - lineup

No wouldn't say that.
In the case of Løber (who is not that know outside DK) and Marc Olsen (who has zero norms in DBgF and thus not even a IM title and hasn't won anything big in DK or international) it's rather the opposite!
We all know that Gus and Mads are not that active in BG anymore, they could be considered names rather than strong for that reason. But whenever they do play they prove that they're still at the top-level (look at last years PR lists).
I guess it's simply the same that's limiting the strength of the world team: They cannot go with players not there, nor players that will not participate in that event. Groenbech for one is not available since he's TD for the entire event. PJT is not there I think. Not sure about Mikael Jensen don't think he's there. Bredahl, I suspect, is focusing on the main event (twice the winner of Nordic Open) he probably won't do more BG than that, during the Easter (he has many kids! heh heh).
I was not involved in the selection process, but I know that Steen and Morten considered a few different approaches for the Danish team. I guess it was just lack of time and resources that kept them away from the model they hinted: a vote between DBgF members. Morten had a few names that he insisted to be there, to give the event the kind of flavor he seeks. Gus, Mads and Sander, probably Trabolt and himself, you know. Some big names and world champs :-) It would have been great fun to have the rest of the team voted in!
Anyone knows how the world team was set this time?
