1. 5/3*(2). I really want to take half white's roll away and this seems the best way to do that.
2. 6/3*. If things go well we might win a gammon, if we get hit it's not the end of the world because white's board is weak.
3. 4(2). Obviously the 4 point is a nice point to make, and I think the hits are not such a disaster because they might give blue a chance to attack white.
4. 1/0(4). The alternative would be taking two off and hit. I think my choice wins slightly more gammons because it gains immediately one roll compared to hitting. So white should dance more than one turn to make the hitting play better and he's of course not a favorite to do so.
5. 6/3. I don't think we're in much of a position to attack white. Maybe later, when our board has improved, but for now I think it just costs too many gammons.
