If I was trying to get a general idea of what the position was worth I'd ask myself if I (Seth) owned the cube and was doubling here from the roof what would the proper cube action be? It would be double/pass. Now how big of a drop would it be? A pretty large one because of the gammons involved. There's your ballpark for starters.

If you are good at estimating what positions are worth and you say for example that this position is worth +1.25 then you offer to take 20 points and be done with it.
