Who's asking to settle?

If it's you, I'd let you off the hook for 7 points - no more.

And then you should reconsider the stakes you're playing!

Unless it's a chou, and you have many 16 cubes out there working for you. In a chou, you could always offer the whole team a settlement of 8 points and see if anyone bites.
