Yes...so assume you own an 8 cube and are turning it to 16.

1) Should your opponent take? If no, then ur opp should lose more than 8 pts by taking. Stick says that he thinks this is a 1.25 pass so...

2) We'll assume Stick is correct as always. So if you cube ur opp from 8 to 16 and she takes a 1.25 pass she rates to lose 1.25 x 8 so that is 10 pts.

3) Lets say that you're completely unsure whether she should take said hypothetical 16 cube then you could settle for 8, which is the same as her equity would be whether she took pr passed a 1.000 take/pass.

4) OK assume she has a clear take, but you'd cube to 16 from the roof anyhow..maybe end up settling for 6 pts.
