problem 1: 8-3 6-3 is it meant to be a mythbuster?! blue is behind in the race and white is stripped everywhere. No need to jump to the outfiled, leaving 15 strong shots. Coming out may also well provoke a double, which i reckon to be a good one and not a big take, in the face of the activated gammons.

problem 2: 24-13 white's position is so weak, i don't even want to give him 6-1 ,11,55 and all the other hit and split rolls in case, i try the more thematic 24-18 13-8, which controls all 4 fields, reinforeces the 8 point and unstacks the midpoint. but then, white will attack and you won't be able to use the newly created spares to make points.

problem 3: 13-9(2) i believe the long term value of the 9 point is well worth leaving a few more shots.

problem 4: 5-1* 4-1 White is going to launch an attack himself if we play the passive 6-2 5-2, which leave us no spares. White will also jump out with a 6, if we let him move freely. i prefer 5-1* 4-1 over 4-1* 6-3, because the former leaves us with a better distribution, in case white flanks. please note that white also holds the cube, so we need to finish him off , now that we have a good opportunity to.

problem 5: 7-4 7-5 just don't panic! blue will have enough chances to jump the last checker out. the trick is to make it as expensive as possible for white to leave blots around or hit loose in his home board somewhere along the line. of course not making the four point may well lead to later shots, during the bear-in and bear-off. i think , even if we manage to bring the straggler home, white will still have an easy take if the four point isn't made. and by the way: what's the alternative? 24-21 4-2? killing a checker and stepping up to where white will attack you undoubtfully?
