I strongly agree with Stick that it is preferable to put the bottom player on roll (especially with the current graphics of the XG diagrams).

When you list a sequence of plays (nactated or otherwise) that arrive at a position, it is generally assumed that the sequence has been "well played," by which I mean that no error worse than .02 (or so) has been committed. I recommend that you identify any such error and let us know in that case whether (a) it is the actual game sequence, or (b) the sequence was manufactured.
For example, with your original sequence 54S-33A-F-C-61P-42S-32S?-51, it would have been prudent to say, "I realize that the 32S move I listed for my opponent is a multi-whopper, but I forgot what happened in the actual game." That way, readers are not left with a misimpression about good moves (and you'll save elblitzo possible embarrassment).
Your alternative sequence 54S-33A-F-C-32S?-42S?-61P?-51 is worse because the last three checker plays are errors and their sizes add up to more than the single error in the original sequence. Even so, (again) the main problem is that the errors are not identified.
I offer a "well-played" sequence in the header and diagram of this post. It is necessary to recycle a White checker (lengthening the sequence by three rolls).
If you feel the score is important, add it at the end of the sequence. For example, here I would write "65R-54S-33A-61U-C-21H-31U-54H-42S-64S-51 at 𤃅" (or ending with ...-51.𤃅 is a briefer alternative) if I believe the score may be a key component of the decision. If the score is dmp, (gammon) save or (gammon) go, end with ...-51-d, ...-51-s or ...-51-g.
Finally, I always use "C" for Cube (and R for recube/redouble). I use lower case "d" for dmp, but some people still use capital D for DMP, so it is best to minimize confusion over a range of contexts.
Sometimes I insert "T" (Take) for further clarity (65R-54S-33A-61U-C-T...), though it is optional.
Hope that helps.
