Of all the people who claim they would have seen an anchor breaking play here, I wonder how many I'd believe.

Maybe 1/10,000? It is not as uncommon as it might seem. This sort of thing is more likely to arise playing a bot because a human typically makes points when bearing in rather than slinging blots everywhere even though the bot may be very well correct in doing so. We know the QF would alert everyone to this play and I'm with you, I wouldn't believe anyone that they'd consider it OtB. There is a hella sweet gain on 61 62 66 and no real downside. I most often see it (wish I'd saved the examples now) when you can break off an anchor or play the spare from an anchor and effectively block this or that doublet.
