1) 8/3 is safe (good when ahead in the race) and leaves no point with more than 3 checkers.
2) 6/5*(3) 1/off is slightly better than 6/5*(2) 6/4 because 1 checker off is worth 2/36 blotting numbers next turn (applicable only if White dances now and hits later).
3) Bar/21* 13/8 lets White build no home-board points, brings builders forward and stays back with back checkers. We really don't need a 20pt anchor when 30+ pips behind.
4) 6/4(2) unstacks, makes the important 5pt (more important when 5pt already made) and now we are only 1 point shy of a full prime.
5) 24/20* 22/20 6/4 hits, covers and anchors. I have to make a conscious effort to think about 22/20* 6/4 6/2* or 22/20* 6/2* 4/2 or 22/20* 13/something 6/4 and then dismiss them all as nonsense and make 20pt and 4pt as the autopilot says. WDF or QFR (Quiz-Factor Resistant)
