All things being equal, I think less is more. :-) For the reasons you state.

BUT: It depends on what OP's trying to focus on. What is it OP want input for? What's OP trying to discuss?

Let's say you have a play with 3 strategic different choices: Prime, Blitz or Run. But you're unsure how to chose the best Blitz candidate between 2 or 3 different plays. Unless you post some further info, you might get a lot of posts telling you to run! Another example is if you post an error you made OtB, and want help in recognizing where in your thought process things turned south. It's easier to pinpoint and supply useful comments if you reiterate your thought process...
