This seems like the hardest problem in the set.

If we enter on the ace point, White will just enter and hit loose and we'll be exchanging hits while being outboarded 4 to 1. Not good. I think Blue has to make the anchor to avoid being cubed out. Where to play the 1? Hitting loose is risky, but with the anchor we at least satisfy some of Magriel's criteria for bold play (behind in race, more men back, anchor). The "safe" plays (15/14 or 8/7) seems to just allow White to waltz around the board unmolested. bar/23 6/5*
