1. 13/8. I think 4 fly shots are too big a risk to justify by making the 7-point.
2. 6/5(3) 1/off. The risk off leaving a shot after 6-5 is small because taking the checker off guards against losing the race. And the gain is that this will sometimes win a gammon.
3. 21*/16. At a normal score I'd prefer making the 20 anchor.
4. 7(2) 23(2). I like making our bar-point because it is a difficult point to make, with the last 2 aces I like 23(2) to put pressure on white's 8-point. I don't like splitting because white has too many checkers in the zone.
5. 4, 20*, 11(2).
