The position on the right appears in Backgammon Openings, page 97. The choice of anchoring or making the 5pt is essentially tied, and the conclusion is that one should play @ (anchor, 24/20) when leading in the match, or P (Point, 8/5 6/5) when trailing.

The position on the left nets out pretty close to that, and any adjustments would be easily overshadowed by the effect of the 𣛪 match score. @ (anchoring) is surely right in both positions.

To see how much difference the 𣛪 match score makes, look at this left-hand position. I didn't notice there was a match score, so I analyzed it for money, settling on E (Each, 24/18 6/5), though I thought it to be close. As it happens, the rollout agrees.

Now look at the rollout at 𣯕. Here, you want to play 13/7 6/5, aiming to get in an early cube and (hopefully) a gammon. It's only 1k trials, but the margin of .069 is telling. There is a difference of .070 between the money margin and the 𣯕 margin.

It's simple. One should be very passive at 𣛪 and very aggressive at 𣯕.
