In Response To: Tournament formats (Leonardo Jerkovic)

Also there are matches in last rounds with no meanings. On other side people who don't want to play such matches go home and leave their opponents without matches on which they account while decided to travel on such tournament.

I realize how there are no ideal tournament format. Every format has it's pluses and minuses. This is endless story. But some tour with several tournaments can be interesting if it consists few knock out tournaments (single or double elimination), some swiss and some hybrids.
