The obvious play is to enter on the ace point, hitting, and then to cover the homeboard blot with the three. But I'm not sure this is correct. In a backgame, "pure play" and mobility are most important, and making the three point before the 5 point may not be correct. So I'll play the more mobile play bar/24* 21/18*. If we allow him to make his bar point, we're flirting with having six checkers stuck behind a prime.

The other play worth looking at is bar/22 23/22, making three anchors. This may be best for timing, but I like the more mobile play.

BTW, does anybody post rollouts of their problems anymore? I understand that stick is charging for them, which is fine, but has everybody else stopped doing it too? I thought standard etiquette was to post a rollout a couple of days after the problem.
