1. 18(2). I'd rather gain the outfield than make the 6-point.
2. 16/6. I prefer paying now when white still has 2 blots and we still have a 5-prime.
3. 8, 7(2). We're ahead in the race so bringing a checker home seems clear. Making the 7pt too, with the last 6 I don't like coming up to the 18-point because there's still a reasonable alternative and it seems there's no hurry yet.
4. 17*(2). Consolidates our race lead. I prefer it over making the 4pt because that leaves us a bit stripped, or making the 9pt because hitting seems to accomplish more.
5. ND/T. Blue's position is too stripped for him to still expect to complete his prime. Hitting might be a marketloser but only if white will dance. And if white doesn't hit then white will regret having given the cube away.
