Ah, David, you are probably referring to last Tuesday night when Michael from Northwestern came to the club to play and he brought his pretty young wife with him.

He introduced me to his wife and we exchanged pleasantries. Then I asked her if she also played backgammon and she she said "no." Michael said, "Phil, how much would you charge to teach her?"

And I said, "Well, I'm $50 an hour, but for really pretty young ladies, I'm free....so how about $25 an hour?"

If you call that "hitting" then I'm really getting old and slow!

(By the way, they both laughed heartily and took it with good spirit.)
