I agree with... playing @ (or F?)...

Yes. For 24/22 23/22 6/5, either @ or F is fine.

The hit/most/6 rule covers most situations. "Hit/most/6" is an abbreviated (and catchy) way of saying that the hit convention (hit if you can) is top priority, followed by most points, then the 6pt convention (closest to 6pt).

So, if as the interpreter, you see @ (anchor), by underlying definition that means make the most advanced anchor you can, hence 24/22 23/22. Next, you see that keeping the most points can only mean 6/5 with the fourth ace.

F (Float the spare) tells you 6/5 for one ace. With the other three aces, keeping/making the most points must be 24/22 23/22. By the same logic, you can also nactate this play "5."

There is a fourth option. Using the portion approach, this is an Each play (far side plus inside) but with a non-2:2 ratio. A 3:1 or 1:3 ratio tells you to underline the E. The most points convention dictates that making an anchor (23pt or 22pt) is part of the play. The 6pt convention prioritizes points over blots, so the more advanced anchor gets the capital. In other words, our chosen play of 24/22 23/22 6/5 can be nactated E (and for anyone interested, in the same family are: e = 24/23 6/3, E = 23/20 6/5, and e = 24/21 6/5).
