The above is shorthand for the following: "For opening 52 at (gammon) save, S (Split, 24/22 13/8) is best and D (Down, 13/11 13/8) is .025 worse, in a GnuBG rollout of 5000+ trials."

I have no rollout for 53-g, but P (Point, 8/3 6/3) is surely a big winner. For money, P beats S by .061. The closest any other play comes is a (gammon) save rollout of s[P S20 R41] <5.
