If you were going to sell matches from a tournament for example, who would sell them and reap the monetary benefits? The tournament director? the TD & staff? The players involved in the match? The person who recorded it? That's one good reason flat matches, that is to say matches without annotation, are generally free. I don't think I could ever charge for individual matches without adding a lot to their value in the way of rollouts and annotation.
