1. 24/22 13/7*. Anchors, and prevents white from anchoring, at the risk of 15 shots, and forgoing making the 4 point, but it does two good things instead of just one.

2. I count 28 shots if I make the 5 point. This may be one of the rare occassions where its wrong to make it. Ill play 15/11 13/10, its still 11 shots, but its much safer and Ill have a good chance to make a good point next roll if not hit.

3. Im not concerned about giving white a poorly timed backgame by hitting, but there are 2 other good options. Ill play 21/14*, it puts the race out of reach for white, and gives him less opportunity to blitz me.

4. I dont think I have enough ammunition upfront to hit twice or switch. 18/9 5/2*

5. TP is 20%, gammon value is about .55 and .66. Ill estimate white wins 32%, LG 28%, WG 12%. 32-15 + 7 = 24%. Probably the numbers are way off, but based on that, Ill say Double/Take.
