Chuck, if you use the approach that Kit often used (same as mentioned in my first message in this thread), assuming that all white wins are on 4, and half of black wins are on 4, then plug in the approximate gammon fractions on the basis of the rollout (1/7th for white, 6/10ths for black), then you get a take with 34.25% GWC or over. With a bit over 35%, white should have a clear take.
I think Kit's approach works very well in cases with a lopsided score where you have the possible to give a dead, gammicidal recube, and that it works better than assuming a cube efficiency and work in the standard way (I would not know what efficiency to assume). Here Kit's approach implies that you'd recube ("on average") when a slight GWC favorite which seems reasonable.
