Fairplay award goes to - Arda Findikoglu

Congrats to Arda Findikoglu of Turkey for winning the Champion Division (2nd div.) in Velden. He was clearly my strongest opponent in Velden (he eliminated me from 2nd round of the Main tournament) and I think it's 100% deserved.

During our match we had a situation where I was leading in a match and also had a 99% sure gammon. Due to tiredness (caused by lack of clocks and VERY long matches) I missed that he still had 1 checker on the bar and I left a blot during bear-off. I immediately realized what I did but there was nothing I could do since I had already picked up the dice.

Without any hesitation Arda immediately allowed me to take back my move and play one that would give me 100% sure gammon! (If I remember correctly this gammon gave me 8-4 lead in a 11pt match but Arda managed to come back) My blunder was clearly unintentional but such blunders are also part of the game and I wouldn't expect anyone to be so kind.
