The problem with auctioning is the same problem I have with rebuys. That gives people with the most money the highest chance of winning a tournament, and you should not be able to "buy" a victory because you have more money or are willing to risk more. The method I outlines is strictly a risk/skill bidding method and doesn't discriminate financially.
