As for #2, you're right that as posted for money the person would have missed a clear cube the turn before. What happens in all of these is that I'm playing 9pt matches and from time to time a decision comes up AtS that I think would be more interesting for money so I copy it over and change the details. That's what happened here. I was playing XGR+, it had a sizeable lead in the match and correctly held off the turn before. Once it cubed (still a clear take at the score we were at) I asked myself 'What would I do for money?'
