Why stay on the ace?

Leaving the acepoint gives white tactical possibilities - hit on the ace, cover, move back checkers up and out while hovering up blots. If you keep the ace, all these tactical possibilities are gone. Basically blue want to cover the blot on the 2 and see white self-destruct.
