METs Revisited

Back in the day when we were only too happy to have any kind MET we used the Woolsey-Heinrich MET and we were damn grateful for it too. We then had the Janowski formula which gave us an estimate to what we wanted to know about match scores. A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then; with the advent of Neural nets the world has come to be an even smaller place. Yesterday's favorite is but a distant memory, for now there are all sorts of METS to go with your cucumber sandwiches and chichen wings. Today's favorite (for the time being) is the Rockwell-Kazaross MET.
Among others, I developed an alternative to the Janowski formula and with a little bit of tinkering/tweaking/tweeting and doing the ipod shuffle it shapes up pretty well to the R/K MET.
For the retro in you that wants to know what brand of cigarette Barclay Cooke was holding on the cover of Backgammon "The Cruelist Game" this is for you.
50+(90-D)/(6+T)*D
D: Difference in match score T: Trailers difference to match score
eg. -3 -8, R/K 80, Retro, 80.35
Crawford
50+(86-D)/(7+T)*T
D: Difference in match score T: Trailers difference to match score
eg. -1 -5, R/K 84, Retro, 84.16
