Why would you expect that the USBGF as an organization would wish to get involved in a personal disagreement between two individuals? That is not why the organization exists.

What is intended by the author of a statement and how someone reading it interprets it are often two very different things. To me, as an individual reading all this, it seems likely that you could simply resolve this matter by stating to Phil that if anything you said appeared to him to be critical of his teaching methods, it was not your intent and was a misunderstanding (assuming that reflects your position).
