In Response To: Win $100 USD for picking the Final Four and Champion of the 1st Giants of Backgammon Invitational Tournament! (rory)

What's the format of the tourney? single elimination? How long are the matches? Does anyone have an idea how to assign probabilities to each possible pairing? For instance: How much of a favorite (underdog) is Stick against Mochy? My raw calculations show that a 100 point rating difference on GG-server correspond to 60% vs 40% odds in an 11-pointer. However, this doesn't seem to be realistic.

I believe no-one has such an edge over any other in this field. Any thoughts?
