It's probably a bit too loose, but I would give some serious consideration to a double slot with 13/4! That leaves 24 rolls that hit (all 3's and 4's plus 11, 22 and 12), but only 5 rolls that double hit (31, 43, and 11). If not double hit, blue is a favorite to make either the 4 or 5 point which would pull him back to even in the game. White's board is not too strong yet and blue hasn't split his back checkers so a blitz can't lead to a closeout. Even with the double hit, therefore, blue still has a lot of counterplay. If not hit at all, blue has several return shots that would make both the 4 and 5 points, which would make him a big favorite, and possibly have him considering a double. I'm not sure if the potential reward is worth the risk, but it's certainly an option that I wouldn't reject out of hand.
