Purely from a standpoint of efficiency, 24/21 6/5 and 23/20 6/5 are distributionally better. The 23-pt gains a little in efficiency with the 5-pt gaining 3 times as much and the two charming plays above; 4 times as much. It seems that the 5-pt injects just enough volatility below tipping-point in teasing white's inefficient distribution.
