I only seized on Arda's circumstance for discussion because it is symptomatic of situations that can develop, that are not addressed, and that, doubtlessly, would garner a myriad of interpretations from directors if brought to their attention.

Again, were I (or likely anyone else, for that matter) in a tourney and waiting to play the winner of the Neil Kazaross vs. Joe Schmo match (and I'm watching the match) and Joe, effectively, forfeits the match at DMP by having a legal move, albeit bone-headed (not that Neil ever does that), replayed; then I am not going to be a happy camper and the director is going to have to make a ruling.

Neil would obviously never do it, but there are others who could be suspected of collusion in that type of circumstance whereby the better player gets to advance for future consideration, if you know what I mean. It's just a dangerous precedent.
