As somewhat of a newcomer to backgammon I have found a lot of websites that a person can find for instruction and information. Backgammon Village, Backgammon Galore,Are just a couple that I use. Backgammon Village is $30 a month and Backgammon Galore is free.I use a number of sites such as Drag The Bar with Bill Robertie as I posted before for only $29.99 a month which is quite reasonable. There are a variety of many different sites a person can go to either free or to pay. I have found a number of books available for sale also. I do not believe any backgammon book should be available for free as any backgammon pro should be compensated for his or her knowledge. As far as instructional sites I highly recommend drag the bar as it covers everything and Bill is a true expert in my opinion. I am purchasing the new book by Mary Hickey which has just came out entitled What's Your Game Plan? I also study and learn a tremendous amount from annondated matches which are provided from the USBGF which also is a wonderful source of information at a reasonable cost.
