Tiger Withdraws from Players Championship -- OT

I truly hate playing or watching golf. However, Tiger Wood's fame and golf success is known to all. From a distance as a non-golf fan, I must agree that this gentleman's mental toughness is questionable. Many men endure ugly, public divorces and can continue to perform their jobs at their previous level. Not Tiger. This does not make any sense. Because to become the greatest golfer by far in its history, one must be possess great mental toughness. Can anybody explain how years of great mental strength can vanish? I really did not expect his pro career to be so troubled for so long after his personal problem.
