unfinished game

In Response To: unfinished game (Steve Mellen)

I'm sure you could construct a situation where it is legitimately unclear which player conceded, but I have never seen it come up in practice, that's for sure.

I've seen beginners look at this position and say, "OK, I need double fours to win!" Not hard to imagine 33 come rolling out, and a friendly, match-ending handshake. Wait, who won again?
