Norway Open is cancelled because of legal issues

Perhaps the word 'large' was misleading. My brother was a scratch golfer and has and has played in over a hundred handicap events in the U.S. where entry fees ranged from $50 to $5000 a man. Granted, some of these were team scrambles. But, why should significant entry fee scrambles be allowed and not backgammon tournaments. These scrambles are held at every country club in the U.S. and at most public courses as well.
