I remember from the "glory days" that many people considered him the player with the lowest PR (or as they called it, ER) in the world, while Leverman was the most succesful in tournaments over a short period. BTW, Ralf Jonas used to play high stakes money games vs both of these guys in addition to people like Grandell and Ballard, at the time I thought he was the mark, he probably was against those people, but internet backgammon has been good to him.
