Good analysis. I like your method of analyzing this position better than Stick's, which requires mysterious epc adjustments. Counting rolls that make this decision deviate from a 3-roll position is more intuitive, and probably unlikely to lead one grossly astray, whereas misremembering a formula can lead to large errors.
