In Response To: Win $100 USD for picking the Final Four and Champion of the 1st Giants of Backgammon Invitational Tournament! (rory)

The draw for the Giants Invitational will not be done will done until just before play begins. It will be a public draw should anyone choose to attend and be there for the first round of play.

Therefore, I have decided to increase the chance of having a winner by taking "The Great" Bob Koca's suggestion...

Just make my suggested change (Your 4 picks must win every match played against the other 12 players and also must pick the winner) and then you can even keep all of the original entries. (Except Chuck would have to have them all reach the final 4 since he thinks it is not fair to change the rules)

I am rescinding my previous statements where I wrote that I would name the contest after Bob and then Casper unless anyone believes that this would do irreparable harm to the positive image I have been trying to create for myself here on BGO over the past few years.

Oh, BTW in case you were wondering, yes Chuck will have to pick all four semi-finalists and the winner in order to win the contest. I just wouldn't feel right if I only took part of Bob's great suggestion.
