Ralf Jonas and Christian Sørensen joined backgammon camp for team world just before Nordic Open. Christian wasn't in the team of course, but he voluntarily became sparring partner of us.

Ralf and Christian met in the final of Nordic Open.

Also, I still remember that I went to Pro-Am doubles tournament in Las Vegas in 2003 just to watch and record the game. I recorded the match between Falafel & Ken Arnold vs Francois & Bob. I learnd a lot from their discussion. Then I won main tournament AND limited jackpot in Las vegas Open in following days. It was 128 and 64 field and I hadn't won any tournament more than 32 by then.

There might be a moment to jump up in a different level, but you need a trigger besides tons of exercise.
