I commend Neil for being honest and humble enough to show us a position he screwed up. Some players only want to talk about how unlucky they were instead of focusing on their mistakes.

Dr. Doug Zare, in 2006, studied Hank Youngerman's online matches and concluded that Hank had consulted with Jellyfish. Doug said that all strong players make occasional blunders and whoppers, but Hank never did. The online player who never screws up is probably a cheater.

No shame in admitting that you do not play backgammon perfectly.
