Position #1 I would have let go. I think a man in the air and two others which will be fighting desperately next turn to form an anchor with two in the air (at least) seems like too much. Ten in the zone, small racing lead, yada yada yada... even though it does pain me to pass cubes when all my checkers are still well distributed and in play this one I have to move on to the next game.
Position #2 shouldn't be a cube at this score. It's amazing sometimes what a difference 1 point can mean at what a lot of people would just consider a 'normal' score. The fact that it's a recube is at the root of the issue.
Position #3 Rod's spares are in a pretty bad spot so even if Neil misses now he'll get more shots later. Simplifying completely saying Neil wins 58% of the time does that make it into the window? I don't know, but I don't like giving cubes where the opponent just snatches it up and he's supposed to do just that. (unless I know I'm in my window) I'd have held off here, esp. as the stronger player.
