You are behind in the race so in my opinion you need to threaten the 12 pt. To do so I would break the 20pt anchor with 20-16. I wouldn't worry to much about being hit. In most cases if he were to hit you he is likely to leave you on the bar with a blot exposed on the 22 point (There are joker rolls he can get like double 4, double 2, 6-4, although a 4-1 and 4-2 would be safe and awkward). On the upside if you move to the 16pt, it makes it more difficult for the opp to clear the 12pt if he happens to roll 6's and 5's.

And of course the obvious 8-7 play.
