There are some differences in how 33 and 44 play and 22 plays a bit worse after 16/15 I think. These differences more than offset the gains from 8/7 noting that you don't need 8/7 to have a cash after you hit and he dances on your 5 pt board.

The lesson here is to not become a slave to duplication (especially when only 1 number is duped) but rather to, when there's time, look at how the rolls actually play.

I'd probably missplay this OTB if playing with a clock unless I was alert enough to realize to analyse more deeply here and willing to spend the time/effort to do so. OTB I'd not likely expect the difference between 8/7 and 16/15 to be worth the effort.
