1: 13/10, 11/10. Keeps pressure on the white bar point anchor. Avoids having a 2nd man sent back. When in doubt make the five point is often a good concept, but here the other play looks better for me.

2: 20/13. A 4 point board against a 2 point board with a blot. Looks like a good opportunity to keep all men in play with little risk.

3: 16/12, 14/12, 8/6. Maybe 14/6 would also be an idea, but I'd prefer the simple beginner move here. Leaves no shots and makes doubles quite strong.

4: ND/T. Hitting would give some gammon chance, but not hitting would bring back the cube on 8 immediately, forcing a drop, thus waisting all the remaining chances.

5: 22/14, 13/9(2). I don't like 13/5(2) here, because it leaves the 2 back checkers under attack. And 22/6 looks not flexible enough. Staying on 14 and making the 9 point looks like a good compromise between running play and positional play. Maybe White comes up with a 42 in return, the I wonder how to play this.
