Making the 20pt is usually significantly better than making the 4pt in the opening (assuming neither play hits), but here, after 24/20, the 2 is awkward, and also there is an extra checker on the 8pt, so I think this is a close decision. Still, I would play 24/20 and then avoid leaving a direct shot by playing 8/6.
